I have an HS Precision on my 700. Its a solid stock and I've had zero issues with it. My next build will probably be a AG composite. They seem to have a lot of choices for left hand.
my 7mm BDL lost the wood stock a few years ago, gained a ceracote job, a HS Precision Stock, Timney trigger and a VX5 Scope. Its been a great gun. I'm probably going to give it to my son when he gets back from overseas as an excuse to build another one. I'm really liking the AG composite...
Razorback 5. Horrible penetration. only thing cool about them is they were used as props in the second Rambo movie when they painted the plastic covers gold for Rambo's explosive tips.
Shoot whatever flies better. I'm shooting 160 Accubonds out of my 7mm. They shoot great and I have killed a stack of animals with them. I wouldn't have any qualms about shooting 140 grainers if they flew any better.
My son's Savage .308 does great with 165 accubonds . I'm loading with Lapua brass and the best powder I've used for that rifle and bullet combo was BLC-2
7mm Remington with handloaded 160 accubonds. Started out a few years ago as a nice looking BDL with pretty wood. After a few years of knocking around Arizona, I got it ceracoated and got a HS Precision stock and Timney trigger. Just recently put the VX5 scope on it. It shoots better than I do!!
