I am planning on camping but that could change quickly depending how how low the temps get or high the snow gets. I am trying to get a off grid type camper lined up but I do have a good ground tent. Why do you ask?
Apparently, I was responding to this guys offer.
My mistake, as I thought I was asking for info for the friend prior to him hunting during my wedding week.
You win.
I had to turn the Colorado tag back in because my father died.
The New Mexico hunt was a bust. I did not see any elk. Some sign but ended up getting rain and lighting the last 2 days.
The elk share meat question was because I literally have no idea how it works. I have never had anyone teach...
Everybody is so nice here. I can't see why everyone thinks hunters are dicks? I also had no idea there were so many out of work comedians that hunt. Amazing! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I drew a late rifle hunt for UNIT 9 in AZ and looking for any and all help and info I can get. I will coming from CA and am willing to do what it takes to get one in the cooler.
Thanks in advance. Mike
I would love to get some info from you. My wife and I got married on Maluaka beach 3 years ago. My buddy hunted Axis for a few days before the wedding. I would love to go back sooner than later and hunt myself.
Mucho Mahalos !

(I have the tag and am paying for the processing and the gas to and from the woods)
Thanks
Total rookie here and I drew my 1st choice for unit 6A Oct 20-24. I am in good shape and a good shot and I am looking forward to a true back country experience. I am out here with the hope that all the veterans could throw some advice my way.
Thank you in advance,
Mike
I drew a first rifle tag in 521 also. I am looking at the Raggeds too. My only worry is it looks like a lot of outfitters are set up in that area. Is it possible to get away from them? Should i even worry about the hunting pressure in that unit on 1st rifle? Thanks..
I am looking for advice on hunting the "RAGGEDS WILDERNESS" area in GMU 521 during the 1st rifle season. Looking for a DYI/SOLO back country experience. I am planning to hike in one of 2 trail heads 2 days early and be ready opening morning. Can anyone tell me how much outfitter traffic is in...
