    elks...Thanks for the heads up. I'll take the advice and focus mainly on the mulies. I've always heard to get away from the roads but this particular unit seems to be pretty heavy on the road access but I guess the deer are still there.

    Well that's rough eating a tag like that...I think I'll stick with a second or third season hunt like they guys have been recommending. Theres a few decent looking units I think I can draw...just hard to settle on one but hey I've got a few months and thats all part of the fun.

    Any recommendations for a third season unit? Last time I hunted in Colorado was when I was stationed at Buckley AFB in 2004 and took a bull in an Otc unit.
