I used a Bow Medic Field press that catches the limbs and the tips, Tipton ultimate gun vise and a second ratchet strap to comepletely tear down my bow, remove/clean the cams and replace the string. It helped to first turn down the poundage as much as possible, I can turn my Mission ballistic... -

How often change string/d-loop?
I was in the same boat as the OP, I hadn't changed my string or D loop in a long time (8 years original string and d loop). They were both showing some wear and I knew it was time, but I don't shoot a ton and a couple years wasn't able to hunt archery season so I shot only a couple times those... -

DNZ mount
This is what I have found also. If you have a long action with a short tube scope it may be difficult to get the proper eye relief, at least it is for me. That said I have DNZ Game Reapers on my muzzle loader (CVA Accura V2 with a Bushnell DOA 250), .308 (Savage 11 with a Sig Whiskey3 4-12x40)... -

I have a Skinner Alaskan on my Marlin 336 and love it. Looks good on the gun too. -

I fire a couple primers through mine prior to the hunt and it should be less corrosive but still fouls the barrel.- mo381

I was using a Harvest crush rib with a 250 Hornady SST over 90 gr BH209. It was very accurate but I think the speed was a little low to expand the SST.- mo381

168TTSX over 50gr Varget set close to the lands is clover leafs in several rifles locally. Runs about 2850 fps.- mo381

The only broadhead I have really ever used is the Muzzy 3 blade, first 100g now 125g . Depending on the speed of your arrow it may also make a difference if you shoot fixed or mechanical blades. I like the Muzzy because they are sharp, tough and simple. I went to the 125 to get more FOC. Some...
