I have been shooting Victory RIP for a few years and now the RIP TKO. Best arrows I have shot. Prices are high but considering they are at the business end of our hunt I am willing to pay it. -

300 grain XTP vs Barnes TEZ
Any one on here shoot the XTP? I will be mainly hunting whitetails and all shots will be 150 yards or less. I have seen plenty of pics for the TEZ expanding, but not much for the performance of the XTP. Plus side is the XTP is a lot cheaper.- deputy338

HHA vs. Black Gold
Right now I am shooting the HHA and it’s a good sight, not great for ground blind use though. I am switching to the black gold after this season. -

blackthorn 209 help
I feel a little bad, now after reading how simple it is. I plan on trying both blackthorn and IMR white hotz. Hopefully something either will show me some consistent groups.- deputy338

either i am completely over thinking how to properly measure BH209 or I just have no clue. All the powder measurers i have seen available measure by grains. My fiance just got me my dream prohunter and i am really fearful of ruining it. please help! :confused:- deputy338

Oh and your arrow weight is good in my opinion. I shoot a 425 grain arrow and ke is 71 ft/lbs. Great plenty for anything in north america except grizz -

100 grain broadhead will work fine. One inch cut is plenty for elk. Just keep practicing and dont over think it. Archery hunting is as simple as you make it. Good luck on your hunt. -

Hey now, i do believe in having fun and the skill to make a shot like would be great. But how much scope would one need just to see that distance? -

4380 yards - long range shot WOW
Can someone please explain the need to shoot that distance. What happened to stalking within 100-200 yards before making the shot. Guess i was just raised different. -
