    Colorado Unit 61 Deer-

    How's it go'in. I'm in the same boat. I drew a 3rd season deer tag, never been to unit 61. I plan to bow hunt elk in unit 62 in late Sept. and do a little scouting for deer in 61. I'll let you know what I learn. Good luck, Jay.

    Colorado Backdoor

    F.Y.I. I checked the colorado "backdoor method" and found a non-res 591 code for deer, no elk code yet. They may not of processed elk or I didin't draw. I plan to hunt deer in Unit 61, third season. If anyone has any information that they could share it is appreciated. Thanks, Jay.

    Deer - lets see em

    I took this Illinois archery buck 600 feet from my backdoor while searching for my brothers archery 8 point he had shot the night before. I found both bucks in the same draw 30 yards apart. This one was a 12 point (the hard way) and field dressed 198#. My best ever.
