My favorite place in all of Creation is YNP. This past summer I fished Soda Butte Creek, just upstream of the geological feature and 50 yards from a Bison that kept bellowing in his wallow, letting me know he was still there.
Thanks for the comments. I absolutely love Yellowstone. I am quite sure I was born and raised in the wrong part of our beautiful country. In two weeks in Yellowstone and Grand Teton I think I saw by far more than I ever expected, and took over 2500 pictures. I saw Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Antelope, Moose, Bighorn, Mountain Goat, Black bear, one Grizzly, and one wolf.....and Bison....oh look more Bison....everywhere....lol
If your intent is to see wildlife here, and you work at it, meaning more than just driving around, you can see an abundance of wildlife.
