I figure it is time to post on the newbie page. All of my western life and hunting has been in Montana. 17 years worth. I now live back in SC to be close to my parents who are in their "golden" years.
I went through all the MT newbie hunting "love" years ago. No fun. I don't mind helping anyone if I can. Bigdan (not sure if he is even on here) came to my rescue as he was the first bow hunter I met in Kali when I bought my gear from him. He at least laughed at me and pointed me in the right direction. I've learned a lot since then but most of all.... if someone helps you, they are helping you. Not all your hunting buddies and all their hunting buddies. Secrets are just that.
