Howdy from the Mountains of NC

Howdy,

I have enjoyed this forum so much that I decided to join up. I live in the northwestern mountains of North Carolina and spend my falls bowhunting whitetails and hunting rabbits behind beagles with my brother and father. I have four kids that range in age from 11 down to 6. I've been hunting all my life and am ready to extend that to western hunting as I am able.

Welcome from Pa. I miss hunting behind a beagle. We lost all of our rabbit habitat around where I live.
 
Welcome Dawg. Leaving in the morning for the Southern mountains and some trout fishing but will be headed up your way in a couple of weeks if there is any water in the streams.
 
Thanks all for the warm welcome. Hunters are the best bar none. Tarheel, there seems to be plenty of water right now, we could use a little rain though.
 
Welcone from your neighbor to the north. Don't wait to long to try out west. A DIY hunt is more affordable than you think, and many are kid and family friendly.
