There's a restaurant in Kansas City called "Joes Kansas City" which is nationally famous for their "Z-man" sandwich. Their way is briscuit, onion ring, provolone cheese, bbq sauce, on a bun.
My way: venison round steak, onion ring, provolone cheese, bbq sauce, on a bun.
Apply your favorite steak dry rub to meat, grill venison to 145 degrees or your liking. Let rest. Cut meat into slices. Pile meat, 2 onion rings, provolone cheese, and bbq sauce on your bun. Enjoy!
Had them tonight and they were perfect.
