High Altitude Advice

Just be aware of yourself. Your worries my all be for nothing. I live at 235' and when I hunt Colorado I know what can happen if I try too hard too soon. Small steps going uphill with frequent rests will go a long way to being able to finish out your hunt when you will have "Learned" more about the Mountain and the Elk you are after later in the week. Good Luck! John

Check out Dr. Hackett's site http://www.altitudemedicine.org/
It has some good information.
You can talk to your doctor about doing some Diamox.
Don't know if you'd need it only going up to 10K, but it has been shown to help acclimatization.
