Bears are out!

As many of you know the pipeline gets overflown every day, weather permitting. Our helo guys are reporting seeing lots of grizzly bears between the Yukon and Chandalar.

Sorry but I don't have any more details than that.

It may be worth making the trip and spending some quality time behind a pair of binos.

Already had a friend bump into a Grizz East of Summit Lake,and a friend who has a friend (lol) has been flying near Denali in a certain area between there and Cantwell that has seen several bear as of last week.
Now I need someone with a sled to haul me around hahahaha! And maybe we can find that Silverback Grizz I chased last year right up to its den?????
Speaking of which has there been anysightings of bou in good numbers on the south side of the Brooks yet? Daniel

I drove as far as Middle Fork Koyukuk yesterday and did not see any south of the range, however there were at least 30 or 40 within 40 yards of the road between here and Pump 3 this morning.
