who with less than max points failed to notice WY Nonres moose dropped to a single random tag available at the last minutes before draw closed?
That likely fooled more than a few applicants who are now locked into a zero tag draw. Almost got me.
So I was wondering why @greenhorn switched to @hedgehog and then I looked up hedgehog characteristics and it made sense:
In the wild, hedgehogs are solitary animals and they spend most of their time alone except during mating and season. They tend to be shy and wary of people. It takes patience...
Good thoughts from a lot of folks!
For Idaho I am only in for sheep if I already have a general/OTC elk tag and thus already have the required small game license. When I get boxed out on elk there, I will skip the sheep draw.
Felt like a fool applying WY moose with only ONE random draw tag...
anymore it seems just like burning hard earned cash as apply for OIL tag$ around the West. Heck event the “regular” species for some states.
Yet keep on doing it.
Anybody else take a moment of reflection as they throw good money away on Montana, sheep, goat, moose, bison, tags, and pretty...
Have drawn deer, lope and bear in UT. So cannot complain too loudly about tough draws there. On cusp of a very good elk tag, maybe not quite this year…
The darn bear took every bit of 9 points to draw which is nuts.
💯 percent success for the most part and a guy is supposed to bail on the coolest or at least rarest hunt opportunity that will ever come along?
Sheesh.
Congrats to the latest crop of sheep & goat hunters!
Congrats and attend our RMBS Sheep & Goat Hunter Meet & Greet June 8 in Golden Colorado to connect with over 100 sheep and goat nuts. Flyer for the event is attached.
