Just be aware of yourself. Your worries my all be for nothing. I live at 235' and when I hunt Colorado I know what can happen if I try too hard too soon. Small steps going uphill with frequent rests will go a long way to being able to finish out your hunt when you will have "Learned" more about the Mountain and the Elk you are after later in the week.
