Still trying to decide what dates to hunt. We plan to have 7-8 days to hunt, what does everyone think would be best. Blow off the first weekend and hunt all week, wait for second week??? This is our first time in Wyoming and out first ever Mulie hunt too.

I would hunt the 24th to the 31st. The rut might start kicking in a little the last couple of days, plus you have a better chance of cooler weather.

I would go a week later . Into november , big muleys won't rut until at least the 5th of November most likely even later

I'd hunt the last few days of the season. If nothing else, odds might be better to get a little snow and make the deer more visible.

I agree, but season ends the 31st..
