A couple of us were successful in drawing this hunt. I know some about the unit, but not much yet. We are looking forward to a fun hunt. If anyone here has experiences or information they are willing to share, I would be grateful. We are not trophy hunters, just want to have a good DIY experience. Anything general or specific about the unit would be awesome. As nonresidents this will undoubtedly be our only visit to this in it. Thank you and hope your seasons are all successful in their own way.

Take a hard look at the red creek badlands. Almost impossible to glass and even harder to hike. That being said...almost 50 square miles of roadless does not get hunted very hard. There are some huge bucks in there. It will be very hard hunting but you will have the area almost to yourselves.
