Winter Kill Strategies

So, here in Idaho, Mule Deer had the 2nd worst winter kill of Fawns and Does on record, and possibly mature bucks (but they aren't tracked). So, a question for more experienced hunters than me.

Would knowing that there was a bad winter kill change how you hunted this season? And if so, how would that change?
 
Mature bucks will still be in mature buck places. You just might have to look over more places than last year to find him. The bigger difference will be in 3-4 years.aa

Agree...following a big winter kill, the following first fall would have the best chance in the next 5-7 years with normal conditions. The number of mature bucks will be lower than prior to the winter kill but the mature bucks have not been reduced further thru a hunting season.
