My wife took this buck 20 minutes into our hunt opening morning. She had passed on one buck about five minutes earlier when we saw this guy cruising by and she decided he was a keeper. We dressed him and sat awhile hoping for a doe to show for her but no luck so we loaded up the buck and headed to town for lunch. We hit the same spot later that afternoon and after stalking within range of a herd we spotted, this doe slipped out of the trees and gave her a 150 yard shot. These were her 13th and 14th deer, she's up to 12 bucks and 2 does.

Thanks all. I taught my wife to hunt and she's gotten to the point where she told me if I quit taking her hunting she would go on her own! Gotta love it!

JohnCushman she shoots a Ruger .270 although I've been toying with the idea of getting her something like a 30-06 for elk hunting.
