White Raccoon

Anyone ever seen one of these? My brother and his boys caught this one yesterday.

My uncle has a taxidermy mount of an albino raccoon. He trapped it back in 1984 or so. It's not nearly as pure white as the one in your photo.

I had never heard of one until last week and the neighboring landowner was telling me about one he just saw while deer hunting, he didn’t want to shoot it with his deer rifle to avoid messing it up. Hopefully we can get it in a trap soon.

I have an uncle that shot one years ago, he has it mounted.

We had one eating our dog food for a short while about 5 years ago, don't know what happened to it.

Not as white, but I use to occasionally see a blonde one with a little dark colors mixed in. Not sure what happened to it.
