What squeaker and mouth predator call?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a mouse squeak predator call and a louder distress mouth call? I have zero experience with predator calls.

I'm hoping to start bringing my 5-year-old boy on a few squirrel hunts. The public land around me (Twin Cities, MN) gets pounded so there is barely a squirrel alive (6 trips last year to various public grounds, one squirrel seen, zero shot). I thought trying to call in a fox or cyote might provide some excitement or at least keep his attention a bit longer.

For mouth calls I prefer the predator quest open reed calls, but for getting started, any cottontail in distress call will work. Just start off soft for a bit, in case you have one close by, and slowly increase the volume.

I'll second what Mthuntinfool said. I use an open reed for 90% of my coyote hunting.
