While in west Texas the beginning of April hunting Aoudad we spotted a couple muley bucks running through the flat. We were just commenting how the one appeared to be a decent buck when all of a sudden it started running sideways with his head leaned back. we were wondering what had happened to him and we noticed he had shed a horn! the coolest thing was seconds later We actually watched the horn go flying off his head. It was likely a pretty rare experience and was certainly cool! here are the horns.

Funky looking mulie horns, almost looks like a hybrid. Pretty cool that you got to watch them drop.
