Utah has posted their 2017 big game application guide book.

What to do with these pronghorn points? I'm the one non-resident with 18 pronghorn points, guaranteeing me the pronghorn tag of my choice, so long as their are two non-resident tags allocated to that unit. Given how many other pronghorn hunts I've committed to this coming year, I might just apply for another point and try to take advantage of this opportunity in 2018. Or, maybe not.

Application dates are January 26 to March 2.

Good luck to all who apply.

Having hunted it two years ago i am probably biased, but I would go NSR for antelope. It's a huge unit with lots of out of the way places that hold antelope. With only 25 tags you will have the place to your self after the first weekend. Every year several B&C Bucks are taken. There are good bucks on every unit though and someone many have a different opinion.

I would love to see a hunt on film in the Southwest Desert, if you are looking for cool units to hunt in.
