Unit 18 cow tag advice?

Hey all I posted earlier when the results were out that I drew a cow elk tag for u it 18! I've been doing as much homework as I can trying to learn the area since it's a whole new spot for me.

I've been preparing physically as much as I can every day haha cause I know it's gonna be hell in the Hells canyon.

I'm heading up this Thursday with a buddy to do some scouting and hopefully pin point some good spots.
Does anyone have advice as to where to go? Where to get into Hells canyon from ? I'm thinking riggins. Anything helps guys I'd appreciate anything! PM me if you fell Bette about sharing haha. Thanks all!

Drew the extra Cow too, been doing some map scouting, I will suggest getting a map too locate the roads that lead into the unit, that is what I did,

Yeah I've been lookin at all sorts of maps. Tons of roads on the east side going up. Gonna have to get down in te draws I figure. Hear there is tons of elk up there so I'm hoping to get into a couple heards. Congrats on the tag!
