People that would do something like that should not be allowed to own firearms or to be anywhere that wild animals roam. Unfortunately, that is probably not the only type of crime that person is committing.

I've never understood it either. I went to high school with a couple kids who would go out at night and spotlight bucks and shoot them, cut the heads off and leave the rest of the animal there to rot. They started bragging about it and it didn't take long for them to get caught by the FWP
