Selway Idaho

I Recently got back from the selway of Idaho we hunting the bitterroot wilderness, we came across a lot of bear sign. I know they say there are no grizzlies in that area but I'm sure some of the tracks I cut were. has anyone else seen or heard of any sittings in that area?

There have been a few accounts of a grizzly sighting or two in North Idaho. I would not be surprised if a bear ended up passing through the Selway. Find any elk is the better question? The Selway has not recovered from the wolves.

We got on a few bulls but never ended up killing one, herd wolves every night. Had to cut the trip short unfortunately before we could make it to the burn we wanted to hunt. Lots of sign and we saw over 50 cows and calves. I grew up in northern MN so I'm used to the wolves. I'm headed back for a spring bear hunt in the same unit.
