I have a question though. You eat those nasty tasting things? If so how do you cook them? I'd like to know so that I can start shooting them again. I had a real hard time choking down Goldeneyes and Buffle heads!

You could eat a coyote like that... I'm talking actual table fare that doens't involve making them taste like salt pork.

OK, then your right.
I have eaten them just BBQ'd and not bad. I love buffies though.

Never had coyote but have eaten crow and its actually phenominal.

I have the same problem with blackheads. I cook the chit out of them in a crock pot with spicey BBQ sauce or enchilada sauce, then make into enciliadas or something with lots of "cover up."

The dog likes them any way he can get them though.

I, too, am going to have to do a seaduck hunt. I am sure it's a little different than shooting greenies in the middle of a corn field!

great pics. what camera? i shot my first and only bufflehead 2 weeks ago, but it wasn't at sea - it was jumpin' a desert tank like a coward. still fun though...
