score off a picture

Anyone give me a rough guess on what this whitetail would score? I put him at 123, but have estimates at 135. What do you guys think?

I think he'll gross a bit closer to 140 myself. Great height and eyeguards. But . . . . I'm much more often wrong than I am right and NHY has got many many many more years judging deer than I do. Were I you, I'd feel safer with his guess.

I think you're being generous on the g2/g3 measurements. I'd say they are closer to 7 1/2 to 8". But otherwise you see what I see, I'd say the buck is closer to 130 to 135 gross.

..good point, the Texas nightime POV runt factor always skews my field estimation to the low side. I'm with smalls on the 2's and 3's.

My daughter found him dead with a bullet hole in his belly Christmas Eve. 24" mains, 10 1/2 g2, 9 1/2 g3. 19" outside spread. Roughed him near 145. Been hunting him with a bow, 3 of us, since October 4 when he showed up on the trail camera. only 1 sighting during hunting light and no shot was presented. Made for a disappointing Christmas!
