I think Tom is the brother who passed on Dec. 26 according to the Innertubes. They were a funny duo.

CBS cancelled em because they refused to submit a pre-air viewing of their show in time for censorship.

The Smothers Brothers did a show at the county fair one year and after the show Tom just went out and mingled with the crowd at the fair. I talked to him for a bit, and he seemed like a nice down to earth sort of guy. Never saw him without a cigarette in his mouth though, so it's a wonder he made it as long as he did.

He was a hero in the comedy world at the time. The brothers carried it to the world.
It was one of the few TV shows our family watched together.
