Many Alliant powders are actually RS powders. There used to be a equivalency list on the RS website.

When you run QuickLoad for a particular bullet in a particular cartridge [in this case a 127 grain Barnes LRX in the 6.5-06AI] it gives a whole range of suitable powders ordered by velocity. The ReloadSwiss is at the top in that category. Plus it offers temp stability and has a copper reducer added. Looks like Reloder23 could work as well. The ReloadSwiss offers about a 250 fps advantage over IMR7977 and maybe 150 fps over Reloder 23. If it was accurate too then that would be the cat's meow. From QL the ReloadSwiss would use about 7 grains more powder to achieve a 150 fps advantage.
