The market for used bow is no where near the 20% depreciation that I have researched. Its closer to 60-65% apparently.

SO I am keeping the limbs Optifade, but taking the riser back to black.....
Called Hoyt to get a quote on refinishing. They DO NOT OFFER REFINISHING SERVICES.

Anybody know of a place in Oregon or Washington that would be up to the task of stripping and painting a Carbon fiber riser?

My $300 offer wasn't so far fetched then... ;)

IIRC, wasn't it 'hydro-dipped' in the camo pattern? If so, you might want to contact the company that did it, they might have a solvent that will remove it. Another option is to have it re-hydrodipped in a carbon fiber finish like I've seen on some gunstocks. I bet that'd be as cheap if not cheaper than having it stripped and painted.

Apparently no one wants to touch it, or wants anyone's business. I emailed half a dozen places in Oregon and Washington. Not one response to an email, and the 3 shops I tried to call to follow up, didnt even answer the phone...

I am just going to have to try and strip it and paint it myself.
