Oregon judge rules that voter-approved Measure 114 gun safety law violates the state constitution

The decision was handed down by Circuit Court Judge Robert S. Raschio, the presiding judge in Harney County in rural southeast Oregon.

Pleased with the Oregon judge's ruling. Unfortunately it seems the Governors of OR, CA and WA seem to be perpetually stuck in a 'hold my beer' contest when it comes to dreaming up new gun laws, etc.

While I am pleased with the Judges ruling I am still pissed the bill passed in the first place. The bill was carried by just over 50% ; 6 of Oregons 36 counties carried the measure. What frosts my ass is there were enough registered republicans who did not vote in Union, Umatilla and Baker county to not only have defeated the bill but probably changed the outcome of the governors race as well.
