Well, Zach and I had super high expectations for this antelope hunt, and unfortunately it didn't end as we planned. We still had a lot of fun despite the lack of big bucks. We had both set our goals at 80" or better (I was actually hoping for 82+) but after looking over so many, we felt it wasn't going to happen. Also, for anyone wanting to know, its hard as heck to shoot a bow in 30+mph winds Not much to the story so I'll just keep it simple. We hit it hard for 4 days, put in just over 1000 miles on the truck, by the way, if anyone finds a tote with about 15 mountain houses and snacks in it, merry christmas
Looked over hundreds of bucks and decided on the last hour we would just find a couple and go home. Day before we left, I spotted this "texas Longhorn" buck and I told Zach if we didn't find an 80" before we left, I'm coming back to get this thing. So, I did Yesterday, found the sucker again not far from the first day and let him have it
Few pics from the hunt.
Now time to quit messing around, its Moose and Mountain Goat time!! hopefully some good pics to come!!!
