I went out on Friday to see if I could catch hum-v or formula 409 during the daylight. With all the rain I didn't think I was going to get into anything but about 1.5 hours left of light the clouds parted for a nice day. I had this little guy come in with about 30 minutes of light left. Then his older brother (slightly older) came in right at dark. I tried taking video of him but it didn't show up well. They both came within 8 yards so that was pretty sweet. The pictures are off my video camera so they aren't that special.

Trying Moosies way of judging bears.

All in all a good trip until the way back but that's a different story.

That is one of the "other" species of bear. Those are called Mule Bear and are easily distinguished by the large "mule like" ears.....

The other site was quiet tonight, but I still think it was a much better choice than a repeat of your trip out in the dark....
