I have been putting in for NM elk for 2 years now and realize if I want to hunt the place this lifetime with more certainty I had better consider going outfitted. I was listening to the Jay Scott podcast and was really pleased with the stuff one of his guests was saying who runs Grahams Guides. Anyone have any experience with them? I have never had an outfitted hunt, so the whole idea of dropping a boatload of cash on faith is scary, but there are experiences I want to have in this lifetime that are going to merit it at some point it seems. I am open to other suggestions as well. One of the appeals of Grahams Guides appears to be the great land he has access to as well. The Sacramento Mountains look like a great spot and exactly the type of land I picture for a NM hunt outside of hunting the Gila.
