Opening day in NM and we got it done! My dad and my kids accompanied me on this hunt and they were able to watch me tag out! We spotted the buck a ways off and I made a great stalk to close the gap and get into bow range. As the buck had his head down I would move in, when he picked up his head I would stop. I finally closed the gap and made a great shot and watched the buck run a short distance before expiring. The best part is, my kids and dad watched it all through their binos! What an awesome day full of wonderful memories!!
