Took my family to see it last it. I'd say expectations were pretty high because we loved the first one. It wasn't quite as good as hoped, but was still worth seeing.

The BAD:
As with most sequels, the plot wasn't nearly as entertaining or original as the first. The new characters weren't developed quite as well as the first. Most of the funniest bits were shown in the previews.
One of the new characters ( a bad guy) had an obvious lisp, and I waited the whole movie for the endless supply of jokes that would provide . . . but it never came.

The GOOD:
There was a scene with several talking Einstein bobble heads . . . . hilarious.
This show had continuous action with only a couple of slow (introspective) moments. It was for the most part free from profanity, violence, or other material not suitable for kids, so it's a great kids movie.
The new characters were good historical choices. Napolean, Ivan the Terrible, Al Capone, Amelia Earhart, Custer, etc.

Took my two youngest to see it yesterday, have to agree with the review above...Good, but not Great. Not as good as the first. Kids liked it
