I saw this ad on Facebook, so I checked it out. Not familiar with it, but it did look interesting for warm weather camping. Advertised to weigh 4.5 lbs. and I think the posted price was $329.00 or so?
Anyway, it seemed like it might be more comfy than a hammock, even though it's bigger and heavier. At least you could get all your gear inside, and probably put a tarp over it in wet weather.

Very interesting, reminds me of a portaledge used for big wall climbing. I actually considered hauling my portaledge up into the woods so I could sleep up off the ground in the trees, and away from large 4 legged visitors. My only concern with the that tent would be sliding to the middle of it since there's no center suspension, which wouldn't be a big deal unless your stinky hunting partner is in there too. Or if it got windy and the trees started moving around and pulling on it. Cool concept though, might mean a good nights sleep in bear country if you could get it high enough.
