I really put in quite a bit of hours scouting and hunting this year for this hunt, because I knew that it was my last year in school to chase these magnificent animals. I wanted to hold for a big buck. I started out on my hunt by passing a small buck the first day. On the third day I had a chance at Mr. Big. I shot and missed just in front... I knew better to do what I did I didn't account for a 15 mph crosswind. So I continued to hunt hard and never got another chance at Mr. Big. But I'm really happy and content with my experience, I mean I never have truly been happy after a hunt without harvesting. But, now I really discovered a whole new perspective and I find it to be more enjoyable even though it's just been one hunt.
