Here's a couple of muntjac bucks from this season. They are an Asian deer species that was originally brought over for private collections but through escapees and deliberate releases since the 1920's we now have widespread and growing population. They are a wonderful little deer in every way to hunt, watch, photograph and the venison is fantastic.

Beautiful little dudes. Congrats. Always neat to see different species.

Fascinating little deer. Would love to hunt them. Congrats!

Very well done! Neat little critters.

Does Roe help with finding the deer before or after the shot?

If you watch a dog they'll generally let you know if there are deer moving through your area and yes she'll track after the shot. She's also a picking up dog for pheasant, partridge, duck, pigeon etc

Very nice! I have a 6mos old pup at home that I'm hoping to turn into a gun dog. I think he's already figured out that I am the weak link... :D
