Mt native non res elk, deer tags?

I live in Alaska, born in Mt. Just saw it as I was applying for sheep. I will qualify, what a great deal deer and elk tags for 145 dollars instead of a grand.

I have...and theres a bit to it.

For starters, you have to get a birth certificate showing you were born in Montana. Then you need to either have a MT hunter safety card or proof of purchasing a Resident License in the past.

Finally, you'll need to provide a copy of a drivers license for your relative that is still residing in Montana. In my wifes case, since her brother still lives in Montana, she had to get a copy of his drivers license and birth certificate showing they had the same last name/parents. In my case, all I needed was my Dads drivers license.

Its a process and if you have questions I'd contact the FWP in Helena...well worth it though for the huge savings.

I wish the law would not have passed, but I'll still be cashing in as long as they allow me to.
