Clearing a bunch of trash that's taking up space on my computer, I came across this short clip from a 2015 Black Bear hunt. This was a few miles up a gated road. I believe a HT member turned me on to check this general area while we were group camped.
Not sure about other States though I'd imagine the same, in Montana you don't shoot a black bear if there's cub(s) in/around, in simple terms.
Anyhow, food for thought as we near this spring bear season. Not speaking as a guru hunter. Rather a Joe hunter faced with a smile and sights set to send the round turned short video and enjoyed the remainder of the show. They tinkered around for several minutes before my brain clicked to try and catch some video. Nature of the hunt (pun intended}.
Have you been ready to pull the triger when your buddy taps ya due to cub(s) spotted? I've had and done that as well. Only difference - video opportunity while solo.
