Montana Fall Bear Hunting

I am looking to do some fall bear hunting with my bow or rifle this fall here in Montana. I just moved up here a month ago and was wondering if anybody had any ideas of a general idea to look for bears around the bitterroot valley. Iv been told around lost child and will be going up tonight and tomorrow to see if I can have any luck finding a bear or two. Any suggestions would be awesome thanks in advance.

JJJeeeezz I think I gave you that advice in a private PM hint hint on an archery site, I think Bitterrooters will know the two areas I was talking about. You need to add a tired pony with it. lol

jerry you are on every site out here ha ha yes sir I went out tonight and found 5 bears off the skalkaho rye road didn't make it over to lost child before the smoke got to thick to see.
