Montana Elk & Deer General HD's

My countdown is on as well. We're waiting until the first and second weeks of November to hit it though. Will be staying in an area where we can hit HD's 323, 327, 361, & 362. If anyone wants to bring their drift boat or raft down for a spin on the Madison, please give me a shout, shuttle and beers on me.

Was out in the 323 area today. Warm and dry, although it's getting cold at night. Most of the ground was frozen as we hiked in. Nothing where we were, but they are around. Hopefully the weather cools down. Snow will help. Not sure what's forecasted.
Water is pretty low right now for floating the Madison. You'd probably be dragging the boat a lot.

Yeah I've been looking at the 10 day forecast, looks like 50 during the day and 30 at night mostly.

Tex_MT....... Do you think locating water source in 362 will be an issue next week?
