Hey guys I went to lake Thompson for some crappie fishing and we smashed about 100 of em. I was wondering if you guys knew of any other good fishing lakes for like bluegills crappie bass or perch within like 3 hours of Sioux Falls?? Looking for something with lots of action. Thanks Guys

Whitewood for perch, Ponsett for northern, Waubay for perch. The River for walleye is hit and miss, depends on water level/flow.

Did you keep anything on Thompson? I was told that there was about 650 shacks out there this weekend.

We went to Lake Henry (Scotland, SD) yesterday and caught about 50 crappie and bluegill. We weren't interested in keeping anything but it was a nice day on the ice. There were probably 20-25 other groups ice fishing on the lake, I think most of them were keeping everything they caught.

I heard Waubay and Bitter have been on fire for perch this winter.
