Randy Newberg, the Bozeman-based host of the hunting series Fresh Tracks with Randy Newberg, says in the film that he’s backed away from the controversy surrounding corner crossing, despite vocal support of a bill in the 2013 Montana Legislature that sought to enshrine the activity in law."

IMO the movement to open land locked public pieces either through land swaps, easements, or other agreements like block management is the best bet we currently have for expanding public land hunting opportunities. It seems like a daunting task but some progress has been made. I have hope that NGO groups with backing of companies like OnX and hunters can persuade both landowners and government officials this can be beneficial to all.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has done some tremendous work with the TNC and others in my area on the Sacramento River, obtaining and converting AG land along the river corridor into prime habitat with a good portion open to hunting.
