To start this off right I'm only after two Ducks Mallards Hen & Drake.
First Day get there befor sun up build blind I'm ready lots of ducks fly over but won't come down ok maybe cause beaver pond is frozen and forgot decoys hang aroung till 9:00 decide to go back home get decoys only 50 miles.
Get decoys grab bite to eat wife says she wants to come along cool!!
Get back in put out decoys flight comes in shoot green head GREAT takes 30 min. to find went down it tall grass wrap it in a towel should be fine. YEA RIGHT!!
next flight comes in Mallard hen down cool lands on other side of pond still alive gets back in woods dog and i search for 20 min bubba finds it GREAT!!
Get back across pone to find my Drake is gonelook for over an hr can't find it now I'm pissed.
Next flight shoot another green head lands on other side of pond once again gets into woods could not find man this really sucks.
Can't hunt here on sunday so have to wait till next saturday leave decoys for the next weekend.
Wait till aroung 8:00am to head up need to get ice off pond let sun do that flight comes in shoot my Green Head pack up go home.
Anyway here is a pic of my Green Head taken with phone so not to good a pic but should make a good mount.
