My guesses: Dalmatian toadflax, some type of wallflower maybe and I agree there’s a good chance it’s native, curly dock and Canada thistle.

The only one I would be really worried about is the toadflax. The thistle is typically pretty easy to control. If you like to forage, the dock leaves are edible.

The toadflax and knapweed are the prime offenders. The toadflax is interspersed all along the trails and roads. The knapweed is also, but there is one major open field of it. It’s probable about an acre of what could be prime hillside. There is only one pond surrounded by the thistle. My wife is jacked for foraging.

There are good bio controls for knapweed and toadflax.
