Just got back from fishing on Kodiak and it was a great trip. We fished 3 days and had really, really good weather combined with fish that were very cooperative.

The silver fishing was incredible, actually watching them grab cut herring just below the surface at times. Rock fish and halibut were also very eager to get in the fish box.

Best trip we've had and I'm glad my Dad decided to go this year.

My buddy Tom caught this guy, he came up pissed off and red:

Wow, what a great trip! If you need some extra freezer space I can PM you my address...

Nothing like making memories with the family. Those halibut are the perfect size and thickness for cooking on the BBQ. Looks like you are half way to a years worth of surf and turf dinners. I am sure you will finish filling the freezer by the end of the big game season.

Very nice! Maybe someday I'll make it over to Kodiak. That sure is a nice mess of fish.

Great trip! That may be my favorite type of fishing trip, being able to catch that variety on a day's trip. I went on a combo out of Westport a couple weeks ago. We got the black rockfish and salmon but no halibut.
