Finally got 2 of my girls out fishing this year. Wish we had more time and the 3rd was along. We had a great time, many little fish were caught and even a couple in the 13-15 inch range. I learned you can fight a fish and land it while holding your stuffed animal.

Good thing you are having fun with them now daddy. From about 12 until they start pushing 40 you are going to be one of the dumbest human beings they know. But, how would I know that?

Even had time to meet smokey and be in a parade.

These pictures make me smile. My little girl is only 17 months, and all she can do is take her custom 4' fly rod, poke me with it, and say, "GaGa" (on guard). I can't wait to see her catching cutts on a dry fly.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to try the stuffed animal thing. It might slow down my set on those bigger cutts!
Very cute girls.

Met the grandsons and their mommy (daughter) at Martin Lake (Bull Trout) for three days last weekend.
Kids limited out every day and ate fish for breakfast and dinner. Gram and I came home with three that we caught because we were so busy with them. So... fish tomorrow night as we are still healing up for all of the activity.

Fishing with them is alot of work sometimes but well worth it. I think I caught 2, spent most of my time untangling knots and tying on leader and flies.

Yup! That is how my three day weekend went at Martin Lake (Bull Trout) with the grandsons until they got it down. Quantites of Beam in the evenings took the edge off after they went to bed.....
Me and gram.... Well, we managed to keep two each and had them tonight.
