I've got a buddy that lives near Grand Junction and the asparagus grows wild along the roads...best tasting I've ever had when they go pick it off the back roads and 2 tracks
I used to find it growing along the banks of Bijou Creek over by Byers. Sure makes the pee stink though.
That my friend is the smell of springtime!
Asparagus pee? JK, If we grew morels and asparagus here I would be out foraging everyday!
Especially with Pinto's, that's the kind of seed I produce....also tasty with a hot bowl of salt pork seasoned phaseolus vulgaris.
